Experienced legal advisor and manager in the energy industry. Alumnus of energy departments of major international law firms such Hunton & Williams, Dentons and CMS. Bartłomiej has advised on a multitude of M&A transactions and financing transactions for RES generation assets. He has also been engaged in and has supervised numerous legal due diligence analyses of RES projects and enterprises. Bartłomiej has worked for many years on RES project developments, including advisory on all legal aspects of the investment process, as well as on industry contracts required for complete implementation of RES projects, from early stage development to the phase of operation (EPC, O&M, BoP). For several years, he held the position of General Counsel, as well as board member, at Enern, a Czech fund investing in wind farms and owning wind farm assets in Poland.
Experienced legal advisor and manager in the energy industry. Jakub has advised clients in the energy sector since 2007. Alumnus of energy departments of international law firms Garrigues and CMS. Later, Jakub worked for several years as Head of Legal at Wento, a leading Polish developer of wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects. He has advised on a multitude of M&As and JVs in the RES sector, as well as several financing transactions (where he has advised lenders, but also borrowers). He has also been engaged in and has supervised numerous legal due diligence analyses of RES projects and enterprises. Jakub has negotiated high-value RES industry contracts, incl. EPC, O&M, TSAs, BoP, etc. He has advised several international and domestic RES developers on their existing development of large (utility-scale) solar or wind energy projects.
Experienced legal advisor and manager in the energy industry. Andrzej has advised energy sector clients since 2006. Alumnus of energy departments at WKB, CMS and Bird & Bird where he was in charge of the energy & utilities practice in Poland. Advised on a multitude of due diligence analyses, M&A and financing (including in the project finance formula) transactions in the Polish renewable energy sector, primarily in the PV industry, but also in wind power. He was also involved in a number of conventional energy projects, including coal-heated power plants or CHP generation sources. Andrzej also has extensive experience in the gas sector. In the past, he worked for four years as Head of Legal and Compliance at the Polish subsidiary of BNK Petroleum Inc., a U.S. stock-listed oil & gas company. For several years, he was a member of the Law and Regulations Committee of the Polish Exploration and Production Industry Organization and is currently an advisor to the Board of the Polish Solar Energy Association.
Experienced legal advisor and manager in the energy industry. Beata has advised energy sector clients since 2008. Alumnus of energy departments at Clifford Chance and Dentons. She has participated in and later supervised multiple due diligence projects for renewable energy sources (wind farms and PV installations), for financing institutions, buy-side M&A investors, as well as vendors. Her particular expertise is in administrative and regulatory fields, where she excels at advising on all matters related to the meeting point between renewable energy projects and public administration. At Res Operations, Beata oversees the project management team, composed of both senior and junior project managers and staff members that support them in administrative matters.
Adrian is the CFO at RES Operations, responsible for managing bookkeeping, financial accounting department, and overseeing of all required reports to external parties including cooperation and communication with finance institutions and auditors, for all of the companies managed by RES. He is an experienced finance advisor and manager in many industries. Alumnus of assurance departments of major international advisor/audit firms from Big 4, having over 11 years of experience as auditor for many international agreements. Adrian has very deep knowledge around different accounting standards, including local GAAP as well as International Financial Reporting Standards. He also has an in-depth knowledge in the field of compliance, internal controls, including on the basis of ISA and SOX/PCAOB standards. He was also involved in other advisory services, non – assurance services, supported external clients with accounting advice, including work related to the transformation of local reports/financial statement into international standards.
